A Community Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. coordinated by the OFSS Social Committee.   Participation depends upon each individual homeowner.  The committee will arrange the advertising of this event for you in local publications and signs at  the two OFSS entrances.  A neat feature offered to you will be a way to get rid of the yard sale items that were not sold and that you no longer want.  An arrangement has been made for a Purple Heart truck to drive through the neighborhood after 1:00 p.m. to pick up those leftover unwanted items.  All you have to do is to drag that stuff to the end of your driveway and the truck will pick up your donation.  A receipt will be provided by Purple Heart.
Two weeks later, on Saturday, May 5th, from 8:00 a.m. until noon, a Community Clean Up will take place.  This is the day to get rid of those large pesky items that have seen their better day and have become an eye sore and nuisance around your home.  The OFSS Civics Association will arrange for trucks to pick up your stuff left at the end of your driveway before 8:00 a.m. or bring your items to the Brandywine Pool Parking Lot before noon for disposal in trucks parked there.
Please read the two attached announcements for further details about each event.
Thanks, and Happy Spring Cleaning!!!
