MusiciansAre there any neighbors that played in high school or college bands - that have their instrument tucked away in a closet - and would enjoy playing in an adult community band? The Kings Park Concert Band (continuously active since 1968) is always open to new participants.

They particularly could use more clarinets, a tenor sax, a bassoon and percussion but any band instrument is welcomed. Auditions are not required.

Any one who has not played their instrument in years but would enjoy getting re-acquainted with their instrument and wants to enjoy the fellowship of the band is welcome to join. The band rehearses on Tuesday nights at White Oak Elementary school in Burke. To learn more about the band, go to or call Forge Square resident, George Rigby.
